Photographer & filmmaker

With my camera, as with a pencil, I draw the moment that will never come again: a movement, a light, a shadow, a presence.

The way a body expresses itself in movement, on stage or off, mirrors the soul: a whole life, and what lies deepest within us.

Between Paris and Cairo, my eye follows dancers, the street and the play of shadow and light, in search of the spontaneous moments that give each image its singularity. As a photographer and visual artist I also explore video art, and I work as a director of photography on documentary films. My work has been shown in several solo exhibitions in France and Egypt.
